So I have not been successful at keeping up my blog! OOPS! Needless to say, things are very busy around the Bivens’ household! The last time that I blogged I was working on taking a Chemistry course, I am happy to report that I got an A in the course…. while working full time! I am VERY proud of that grade!
I am a full time student this semester, but my most challenging course is Microbiology. It is difficult to find enough time to study. It is A LOT of information. I am doing decent in the class right now with a very high B and am hoping to have my A by the semester’s end, which is just around the corner! My main goal in all these classes is to make good grades so that I can get into dental hygiene school, which will hopefully happen in the fall!
I worked as a dental assistant for a little over a year, but I quit at the end of September so that I could focus on my school work. Like I said before, it is VERY important to me that I get into dental hygiene school, I am SO passionate about this!
Last month, I was FINALLY able to get my bridal portraits taken. I know, I know, I have been married for over 10 months. I felt like I really needed some pictures of my dress and me in my dress. We didn’t have any from the wedding, so we decided to use Grant’s amazing photography skills and the beauty of the fall and take some beautiful portraits! I do have to say that my husband is one amazing photographer! He got some breathtaking portraits! As soon as we get some time, I will see if I can get a photo gallery set up on here so I can show some of his amazing stuff!
As for life now, I absolutely LOVE married life! It is crazy busy and sometimes it seems that there just isn’t enough time in the day to get everything done, but when I lie down in bed to go to sleep with my husband by my side.. that is the best feeling! I love being married and I love having my best friend with me all the time.
I am considering turning my blog into, sort of, a “Newlywed Confessional”…. things that I have learned during this year of being a new wife, hints and tips… stuff like that. Not sure if I have the time to do that, but it is just a thought.
The holiday season is here! I celebrated my 22nd birthday a week ago, which is a reminder of all the exciting things this time of year has to offer! I cannot wait to celebrate the holidays with my family this year! I get to have my husband there with me! EEK! It makes me so happy!
I am hoping that I get to blog again before the holidays, but no promises! I hope everyone takes time to enjoy this beautiful time of the year!
